Love this!! I bought two; one for my brother and sisnlaw and one for me. We are big on making all different kinds of cocktails and most especially old fashioned's. I had my share of smoked ones, but far and few between. I've always wanted a smoker, but the smoking gun added too much "work" to making them. I saw this advertised on a social media site and did my research. This unit is so easy to operate. They give you so many various wood chips to try out.
I love the following -
Packaging. Makes for a nice gift and presentation.
Design. Very neat and unique. (Just be sure to use a taller glass so that the unit is not touching the cocktail liquid).
Simplicity. Easy to use and smoke. (Turn the half moon cap, put in some wood chips, close it back up and put it over your glass. Press it once to turn it on, and then press it again to start the smoking). Wahla! the smoke starts seeping out slowly and what a show if you are making it for someone too).
Price. Fairly priced , especially with rising inflation.

Not only is this for everyone, it is the simplest way to make people believe you're beyond sophisticated. When my youngest son turned 21 and I made him a "whiskey sour" he told me that I am "literally the worst drink-maker ever" because I don't drink liquor. I was so excited to review this item and once I received it, he immediately said this is the coolest product he's seen yet.
Why does this deserve 5 stars?
1. I researched a plethora of different whiskey smokers and this set is the most comprehensive (has the most stuff) - it's a great value;
2. There are very few that are completely electric and rechargeable. This recommends you charge it for 3 hours before the first use. It was fully charged at about 2 hours;
3. I was worried about breaking it but used a jar grip to softly twist it open the first time. To me, I appreciate the fact that the fit is perfectly secure. This product is QUALITY;
4. Love the design - seriously, it looks like blown glass;
5. The instructions are simple and there's a wood chip spoon and metal brush cleaner to maintain the product and ensure its life; and
6. Did I mention that I can now make elevated drinks for people?!? Ummm, awesome.
This is the perfect gift set - for everyone. I (we) highly recommend spending half of what other comparable sets cost and go with SATURIX!
